Inside Incredible Athletes

What an amazing programme shown on Channel 4 last night directed and produced by Mike Christie. (Pictured… he is the chap to the left if you cannot distinguish between him and the runners)

The documentary was inspiring to watch as it showed the lives of some great athletes who have over come so much to be able to achieve what they do.

Exciting times lie ahead for them all as we count down for 2012 and my best wishes go especially to Stephanie Reid and Jonnie Peacock whom I had the pleasure of filming with.

Where we stand at present

Ok so as I write this I am in the process of applying for my O1 Visa which when successfully appointed will then see me head over to the states to fulfill my role as Josh Ellison in 'The Summoning'. A film that has suffered many delays but is on the verge of filming.

It has opened my eyes to the possible delays within the industry and I have witnessed those that give up along the way, something I cannot even consider an option because the chase is what keeps me hungry. The last thing I filmed was 'Three' and that was a great nights filming, check out the video Director Darren S. Cook has put together for the cast and crew, you can see how much fun we had doing what we loved.
I have been working on this now for nearly four years and I am really pleased with those people I am working and associate with. I have also focussed my energies on 'Bite the Ballot', a project that started in my class room at Wilmington Enterprise College and we are set to make Political history. A group of Sixth formers are engaging more young people in to Politics and breaking down the perceived barriers between young people and politicians so that communication and understanding will be enhanced on both sides. Check out the dedicated site at www.bitetheballot.co.uk.

Tune into Channel 4 on Sunday 29th August at 9pm to see myself in Mike Christie's documentary about the Paralympic Athletes, another great day I had filming in London's Borough Market.

''Three''

Having returned from LA on Thursday night, only just making it to the Polling station and then sleeping off the jet lag, Michael Sani then filmed his first overnight shoot with Director Darren S. Cook and Producer Gene Fallaize in the independent short film 'Three'.

At a warehouse in Rochester, Michael played the role of Sullivan in the action comedy that is off to the Cannes film festival tomorrow. As a result of Michael's performance on Friday he has been offered the role of the Police Detective in the forthcoming feature film 'Sure Fire Hit'.

An exciting slate ahead, which Michael looks forward to showing his diversity as an actor as he begins his film career.

Hollywood and back again

Amazing two weeks in LA resulting in a huge step closer to the dream! With a successful reading in front of the casting director and financier Michael Sani has secured his role in The Summoning subject to his visa application being successful.

Whilst away Michael was in LA he was invited on to LA Talk Radio to speak of his forthcoming projects, a real exciting time all round and great publicity for Michael too, stay tuned for the sound bite of his interview.

Michael's Personal Manager Miles Anthony has also secured Michael's involvement in the forth coming British feature film Jack the Ripper filming in Whitehall later this year. Michael will be playing Chief inspector David Swanson's (Christopher Fosh) main aid in what is seen to be one of the most exciting British films this year.
